With all the options for hobbies these days, you may have found one or two including R/C that you had questions about. Perhaps you wanted to make a R/C purchase but then had second thoughts, so the question remains, “is R/C right for me?” the short answer is yes, please let me explain.
To start R/C is an excellent hobby to get into for a few reasons, let's start by covering just a few.
Newcomers delight:
As a newcomer to the world of R/C you are shown many options cars, trucks, buggies, boats and more. The hard part may be choosing what to get, not to worry I am here to help! The good thing is that you do not need to worry there are no wrong choices. The first thing you should consider is what you plan on doing with your R/C. If you plan on going out to the local lake perhaps a boat will be the best option. However, if you do not plan on playing on the water but still want to play on the beach then a buggy will be the best bet. You see, it's all in what you plan on doing with your R/C.
Family fun:
Your new R/C can be for one or many. The bonding time over building a R/C from scratch is unrivaled. R/C provides a perfect amount of time to sit and work with one another. Along the way there may be hiccups as your following the instructions but taking the time to work though the issue will lead you to a successful build. Once your R/C is complete you have a fully functional toy that you can play with and share with family and friends. Even after some time passes and your looking to upgrade or choose another R/C, you can always look back at the fun times you had on your last build.
Customization:
In many cases R/C is not limited to the standard “cookie cutter toy” if you want to make your R/C truck jet black with white flake go right ahead. Want a more colorful rainbow look that’s perfectly fine paint away. This is largely due to the customization capabilities of your R/C build. In most cases the body of your R/C will be a clear slightly dull looking plastic shell. This shell will need to be painted in any color of your choice or you can try to match the livery presented on the box, it is totally up to you. The customization does not stop there many more options we can discuss next time.
As always, I would love to hear from you if you tried R/C before, are just starting out, or maybe you decided to dust of the old R/C for one more run!
